Being a small and woman owned firm for over 24 years, Colt Safety, Fire &
Rescue understands first hand that the playing field has not always been

In the early part of this new millennium we began a quest to prove the capacity
of diversity companies and to offer partnerships with other small, woman owned,
ethnic minority and service disabled American Veteran businesses.

We have most recently formed a nationwide “coalition” of quality managed
diversity companies for an Iraqi Reconstruction effort and are willing to share
this expertise with any business committed to diversity inclusion.

companies in the state of Missouri in addition to being a civic-minded company.

In 2000, at the request of our largest client we implemented our first ever
diversity initiative. When we began tracking our spends we learned that 5.4% of
our dollars were being spent with diversity companies. Today, after actively
seeking quality managed diversity companies with which to partner, we now boast
that over 25% of our general and administrative dollars are spent with
diversity companies.
